This shaft allowsan RDE tip (E3 Series orE4 Series only) to be used as a non-rotating,stationary workingelectrode.  The upper end of this shafthas a banana jackwhich can accept a standard banana cable, or alternatively, abanana plug(included) can be installed in the banana jack, and this plug canaccept analligator clip.
