This shaft allowsan RDE tip (E5 Fixed-Diskor E5 ChangeDisk tips only) to be used as anon-rotating, stationary workingelectrode.  The upper end of this shafthasa banana jack which can accept a standard banana cable, or alternatively,abanana plug (included) can be installed in the banana jack, and this plugcanaccept an alligator clip.
